Best way to find a new job

There are a variety of ways one might use when searching for a new job. Perhaps by answering advertisements, searching the Internet, the use of employment agencies, or even simply by "hitting the streets".

While some might find success with the above mentioned methods, the fact is that Networking is the most effective way to discover employment opportunities!

And exactly what is Networking?

Networking is communicating/connecting with everyone you know like friends, acquaintances, and family. It is talking to people and seeking information and referrals, expanding who you know and who knows you, and helping others. This can be accomplished in many ways from being face-to-face with someone to social networking websites (like Facebook for example).

Put it out there that you are looking for work! Let people know what work experience you have and what type of work interests you, ask people if they know of any opportunities that are available, etc.

Approximately two-thirds of jobs are located by word-of-mouth, informal referrals, relatives, friends, and acquaintances!
